Nike called asking if we wanted to come shoot KD in San Fran. We had to stop ourselves from saying “Duh.”

My start in video production came on YouTube. Sneaker YouTube to be exact, and my favorite Youtubers eventually became my employer.

At the time, the KD 11 was coming out and Nike wanted a YouTuber to come be a part of Nike’s media production day for the shoe. They chose KickGenius (my YouTubers) to be the talent.

It isn’t the best thing I have ever shot, it won’t make it in my pantheon. That said, for a huge basketball fan and an aspiring director, this was a huge day.
