ZERO.ZERO.ZERO

A few week before I arrived for my internship at T&P (The & Partnership), the agency won a retaining bid for “Highball,” an energy drink boasting zero sugar and zero calories. They had also just been acquired by beverage super-giant Anheuser-Busch.

Day one on the job for me was 100% Hiball, didn’t even do an introduction–the team was cranking. The brief skewed young, working professional looking for coffee alternatives. Clean but contemporary, urban, intelligent.

With direction from Natasha Maasri and Michael Ashton, I was put on creating mock posters, some animations, and trying to come up with energetic “0s” wherever possible.

Ultimately…

None of this work saw any action. Although I like to think the folks at Highball enjoyed this work, I don’t think they ever even saw it.

Before the end of my internship Highball was no longer a client any creatives were working on… which is a shame: a truly fun brand with a surprisingly good product.

Chalk it up to speck work for myself and my writing partner Carline Moreton.
